Finding a photo for the day was becoming difficult, so I hung the camera around my neck and took it everywhere I went. Coco thought it was just another potty outing until my wife asked me to capture an unscripted selfie.

She got a pic for her company newsletter, Coco got an extra snuggle, and I got content for the story rep. I suppose there is wisdom in saying that success happens when preparedness and opportunity meet.

You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker vessel, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. — 1 Peter 3:7

Being somewhat derailed by a scenic view and the smell of fresh baked sourdough, I got a restful but late start on the garage cleanup project as I munched on a loaf while gazing through the sliding glass door.

Then I remembered to get the photo, which was my 3rd win of the day. But enough lounging about. See you tomorrow!

I’m trying to work on improving my eye for light, but it’s been nothing but hot and dry until the Lord sent blessings from heaven over the Kansas prairie.
